Donate in Honour of Stephen's 70th Birthday!
What do you get for the guy who has everything? How about supporting a cause that has made a difference in his life? While 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, this disease also impacts the lives of their families, friends, and colleagues.
As you may know, Stephen (Dad) was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011. He received excellent treatment and support and now, 8 years later, is living life to the fullest! Supporting cancer research, raising awareness, and reducing the stigma around talking about men's health are all causes that are important to him. He has participated in the Ottawa Ride for Dad as both a rider and volunteer, and continues to provide support to others by talking about his experience to anyone with questions about the journey from diagnosis to treatment and beyond (sometimes providing details you may not have asked for!).
As we celebrate his 70th birthday we invite you to make a donation to the Ottawa Ride for Dad in Stephen's name. This gift is a SURPRISE - we will let him know the total amount of donations on his birthday. If you wish to provide a birthday donation, please use the "Donate" link on the right rather than his personal rider page.
We are eternally grateful for the excellent treatment and care he received that has allowed us to celebrate so many milestones with him.
Cheers to 70 years, and many more!
Barbi, Stephanie, & Brian
