Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear Friends and Family,
We are down to the last couple of days before the ride day. Although I won’t be riding this year, I wish to thank those of you that have assisted me in trying to reach my goal and donated to this years event. I am a little short of my goal so I’m asking those of you that haven’t donated to think about reaching in and help eradicate this dreaded disease. Every dollar counts. Please follow the link below to help me reach my goal and support our team.
I am writing this from my home while recovering from double bypass surgery. I had the procedure done on the 9th May but had to go back in hospital a couple of times due to complications. Nothing is ever simple and straight forward with me. I developed afib after the bypass and my heart rate would jump to 150+ whenever I stood up so it felt like I was running a marathon. I was extremely short of breath and could barely get to the table to eat. My doctor decided that the best think correct this was Cardioversion. A procedure where they shock the heart to try and return it to proper rthymn. It worked and my heart is doing well. I am recovering and will be back in the saddle after these hiccups.
I am asking you to make a difference for the men in your life by help by supporting our team’s fundraising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many by helping to fund critical research and public awareness campaigns right in our own community!
Help us reach our goal – support me or my team with a donation today!
